When Asad was just a child, his home was attacked by machete-wielding men, and he barely escaped by running into the jungle. Sadly, his parents were not so fortunate, and Asad found himself alone in the world. What would become of him?
He was sent to an orphanage, where he secretly listened to Adventist World Radio—the one bright spot of his day. But all too soon he was told to leave. For a second time, the question loomed: What would become of him?
Watch this video to learn the rest of the story—a story that led Asad to an even greater trial and the question yet again: “What will become of me?”
God never forgets His children. He didn’t forget Asad—He lifted him up, set his feet on solid rock and gave him a place to stand—and I love that He used Adventist World Radio to do it, because Asad now works for AWR in an undisclosed location of the world!
