How to Curb Dementia
One neuroscientist once said, “The key to a healthy life is having a healthy mind.”
That’s true. We all should be aiming to protect and enhance our brains. It’s the vital organ not only for mentality and spirituality but for holistic health. It impacts even our afterlife!
Sadly, brain health is constantly being attacked nowadays. And now, mental diseases like dementia and Parkinson’s disease are on the rise.
Notably, we should be concerned about our frontal lobe. Even the Bible mentions this significant area of our head (Exod 13:16; Deut 6:8; 11:18; Matthew 23:5). It’s crucial for our memory, reasoning and judgment, emotions, impulse control, social interaction, problem-solving and motor function. It’s no wonder that dealing with dementia is a challenge.
What can we do to know and recognize dementia? How can we prevent it?
