Burias Island, Northern Luzon and Bukidnon Broadcasts
Burias Island is another promising field for evangelism. Of the island’s 86,000 inhabitants, only 300 are Seventh-day Adventists. Your gift today will support radio and internet broadcast projects communicating gospel and health messages, and support church members and local workers, who will visit listeners to study the Bible with them and invite them to church. It will also support AWR360° Hope, one of the longest-running radio stations in the Philippines (in Mindanao), through which thousands have been baptized. Your gift will purchase a desperately-needed new transmitter and other necessary equipment. Finally, this project will increase the reach of the 13 AWR radio stations broadcasting across the entire Northern Luzon Mission, as 4,000 transistor radios will be distributed to listeners throughout the region, providing 12 hours of content every day.
