Internet Radio in Niger
Niger is a sparsely-populated country with the exception of the capital city, Niamey, which is in the Sahara Desert—in the heart of the 10/40 window. Given that it is a primarily Muslim country, securing a license for a religious radio station is extremely difficult, but there is no limitation on setting up an internet radio station. This project will support both evangelism and health messages across the airwaves. There is interest in this region, as in the last year, more than 1,500 indigenous people have been baptized.
